Stewardship is your response to your faith in God. All that we have comes from God, and it is our duty to return a portion of that money back to God’s work in the world. Our Bible verse for this year is Deuteronomy 16:17, “Each of you is to bring a gift in proportion to the way the Lord your God has blessed you.”
The Stewardship Campaign supports the annual budget of the church. When you make a pledge, it allows the church to make plans and allocate funds to support and strengthen the many worship services, ministries, and outreach efforts at Saint Michael. Each and every pledge makes a difference and works toward building the Kingdom of God.
Making a pledge is part of making a commitment as a Christian. Each one of us has a need to give, and giving to others helps to focus our priorities. Christ teaches us that “wherever your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Luke 12:34).
